New Commission and Two Persian Inspired Suppers with Chef Bee!

I always feel so privileged to be able to work on commissioned pieces…

One of my most recent commissions was a set of three floral paintings that were recently installed at Baylor College of Medicine! Each painting is 36X36 and made with acrylic paint, pastel, wax pastel and molding paste on canvas. It is an honor to have my work hang in a public space where they can be enjoyed by many people.

The Secret Suppers with Chef Bee were such a Success!

A huge thank-you to everyone who came out to the dinners! The dishes looked as beautiful as they tasted, it was wonderful to get to experience flowers in a truly unique way.

I’m so excited to announce that Chef Bee will be holding two new dinners at my studio!

PERSIA IN BLOOM

These next two dinners will be an exploration into the culinary landscape of Persian food, rich with aromatic spices and fragrant flowers.  March is the month of the Persian New Year (called Norooz in Farsi) and doesn’t spring feel like it is just the right time for a new year celebration with all the gorgeous trees and flowers in bloom? A tasting menu of 5 (or more!) courses with pairings will be at one communal table in the intimate setting of an artist’s studio in Houston’s historic fifth ward. The menu is fully plant-based and flower forward. Highly curated. Come open-minded and open-hearted.
